Returning a Bag

Each of the bags available for sale on The Hosta is personally sourced, and we are confident you will love your purchase.

As many of our pieces are sold on behalf of consignors, we are not obliged to accept returns under UK consumer regulations for certain items. However, we are pleased to offer returns on eligible full price items subject to the conditions below.

To qualify for a refund, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery (inclusive of weekends) by emailing hello@the-hosta.com quoting your order number. The item must remain in the same condition as when dispatched by The Hosta. The item must be shipped back within 14 days of delivery using a fully tracked and insured service, and it must be received safely and without damage.

Please retain proof of postage, tracking details and insurance documentation, as customers are responsible for the safe return of items until received by The Hosta.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If an item arrives damaged or not as described, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographs showing the issue. This allows us to assess the condition and assist appropriately.

We are unable to consider claims submitted outside this timeframe or without supporting evidence.

Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected, refunds will be processed within 5 business days.

Refunds are issued less the original shipping charge.

Refunds can be made to the original payment method or issued as store credit, at your preference. Depending on your payment provider, funds may take up to 10 business days to appear in your account.

International duties, taxes and customs charges are non-refundable.

Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges. If you would like an alternative item, please return your original purchase (if eligible) and place a new order.

Sale, Consignment & Non Returnable Items

All sale items, consignment items, watches, earrings and gift cards are final sale and are not eligible for return or refund.

Any item specifically described as Final Sale at the time of purchase is also non refundable.

Late Returns

Returns shipped outside the 14 day return window may be accepted at our discretion and, if approved, may be eligible for store credit only.

Our Authenticity Guarantee

We guarantee the authenticity of every vintage and pre owned item we sell. Each piece is carefully authenticated, photographed and described as accurately as possible.

Should you believe there is a material discrepancy between the item received and its description, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we will work with you to resolve any concerns promptly and fairly.
