This rare Chanel Surf Tote is such a fun and collectible piece from Chanel’s iconic surf inspired range. Featuring an oversized ocean wave print in shades of blue with bold red straps and the instantly recognisable CHANEL SURF branding, it perfectly captures the playful resort energy Chanel became known for during the early 2000s era.

The large oversized silhouette makes it incredibly practical whilst still feeling like a true statement vintage piece. We love the contrast of the sporty surf inspired design against classic Chanel iconography, something that has become increasingly sought after amongst collectors in recent years. A brilliant summer bag and an especially rare find.

The Chanel Surf range is from the early 2000s, around the Karl Lagerfeld resort era when Chanel introduced a series of surf and beach inspired accessories that have since become cult collector pieces.

This bag comes with the serial sticker and authenticity card from Chanel. The serial number tells us this bag was made between 2002-2003.

Good vintage condition overall with signs of wear consistent with age and use. The base shows noticeable wear, scratching and paint peeling, alongside general marks and wear throughout as shown in the images. The interior has some marks but the bag still presents beautifully with plenty of life left.
