Returning a Bag

Each of the bags available for sale on The Hosta is personally sourced, and we’re confident you’ll love your purchase. However, if your item isn’t quite what you hoped for, we’re happy to offer a refund (excluding original shipping charges), provided all of the following conditions are met:

You notify us within 48 hours of delivery (inclusive of weekends) by emailing hello@the-hosta.com with your order number.

The item is in the same condition as when it was dispatched by The Hosta.

You ship the item back within 14 days of delivery using a tracked and insured service.

The item is received by us safely and without damage.

Please ensure you retain your proof of postage, including tracking and insurance, as you are responsible for the safe return of the item.

Important: If the item arrives damaged or not as expected, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographs showing the issue. This enables us to assess the condition and assist you appropriately. We are unable to process refunds or returns for damage claims submitted after this window or without supporting evidence.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll process your refund within 5 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once this is complete.

You can choose to receive your refund to your original payment method or as store credit. Refund timing depends on your payment provider and may take up to 10 business days to appear in your account.

Please note that international sales taxes and customs duties are non-refundable.

Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges. If you would like a different item, please return your original purchase (subject to the above conditions) and place a new order.

Sale & Non-Returnable Items

All sale items, earrings, and watches are final sale and non-refundable.

Late Returns

Returns shipped after the 14-day period may be accepted at our discretion and, if approved, may be eligible only for store credit.

Our Authenticity Guarantee

We guarantee the authenticity of every pre-owned and vintage bag we sell. Each item is thoroughly vetted and accurately described and photographed. If you feel there is a discrepancy between how an item is portrayed and how it arrives, contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will work to resolve any concerns swiftly and fairly.
