Vintage Hermès Brown Garden Party Leather Tote

A classic vintage Hermès Garden Party tote in rich dark brown leather, with contrasting grained leather handles and trim.

The simple, understated design is what makes the Garden Party such a good everyday bag. Crafted from smooth leather with a naturally relaxed shape, double rolled leather handles and signature press stud fastenings that allow the sides to expand. The generous proportions make it ideal for everyday use, with a spacious open interior lined in beige herringbone fabric.

This particular piece has developed considerable character through years of use, with a worn leather finish and natural patina. The Hermès branding remains visible inside, although the date stamp has worn away and the exact year of manufacture cannot be confirmed.

Condition
Fair vintage condition with significant signs of previous wear. There are numerous scratches, scuffs, marks and areas of discolouration across the leather, along with natural creasing and softening of the structure. The interior also shows signs of use.

Please note that the bag has a noticeable storage smell. The Hermès logo remains visible inside, but the date stamp has rubbed away.

This bag has been priced considerably lower to reflect its condition and would suit someone who appreciates a well worn vintage leather bag.
