One of the most iconic handbag designs ever created, this vintage Chanel Small Double Flap bag is crafted from black quilted leather with rare 24k gold plated hardware. Produced between 1986 and 1988, this piece dates from one of the most sought after eras of Chanel, known for its rich gold hardware, beautifully supple leathers and timeless craftsmanship.

The classic diamond quilting is paired with the signature CC turnlock closure and leather threaded chain strap, allowing the bag to be worn comfortably on the shoulder. Inside, the bag features the signature burgundy leather lining, double flap construction and multiple interior compartments.

This piece comes complete with its original Chanel authenticity card, serial sticker, dust bag and box.

Condition
Good vintage condition overall with signs of wear consistent with age and use. The 24k gold plated hardware remains in very good condition with excellent colour retention. The leather shows some wear in places, including some rubbing and areas that appear to have been professionally repainted over the years. The interior remains clean overall with some wear visible to the inner flap and corners. Please refer to the images for the exact condition of the item.
