The Iris Tote is our debut design, shaped by years of sourcing and handling vintage leopard printed bags, a true signature at The Hosta.

Handcrafted in a family run atelier in Scandicci, Florence, the Iris Tote is made from premium Italian leopard printed calf hair, with a chocolate brown supple suede lining and chocolate smooth leather trim. Each element has been carefully considered for its beauty, longevity and integrity. The base is leather to protect the bag from everyday use.

For ease and peace of mind, the tote features a discreet hidden magnetic closure at the top, offering security when carried.

We worked closely with our tannery in Italy to develop a leopard print that feels natural, nothing too uniform or graphic. As a result, every panel is slightly different, making each bag truly one of a kind.

The tote shape fits perfectly over the shoulder, even layered with a large coat. Inside, a zipped pocket allows valuables to be safely stored, alongside several slip pockets to keep everyday essentials organised. The spacious body fits a laptop with room to spare. With its winged sides pushed out, it becomes the perfect travel or everyday tote; with the sides pushed in, it transforms into a more compact silhouette.

The structure is designed to hold its shape and belongings with ease, yet still offer the effortless slouch of the best vintage styles.
